High Clearance Shores are generally used on big pipe projects where the pipe being laid is greater than 36” in diameter. Our High Clearance Shore provides clearance from the bottom of the trench.

These shores must be installed and removed from outside the trench. They are built from heavy-duty waler rails and double 2” or 3” cylinders. The horizontal spacing of these stores varies by the strength of the hydraulic cylinders.

High Clearance Shores come in 8ft, 12ft, 16ft, and 20ft lengths. Allowable trench widths are 4ft to 12ft. Designs beyond these parameters are achievable when using a design by a registered engineer.
